Overview: We are seeking a skilled and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a medical office setting. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Responsibilities: - Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient inquiries - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records systems (Eaglesoft, eClinicalWorks, Dentrix, etc.) - Coordinate patient referrals to specialists or other healthcare providers - Assist with medical billing and coding tasks as needed - Ensure a clean and organized front desk area - Collaborate with the medical team to ensure smooth operations of the office Experience: - Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred - Familiarity with medical scheduling systems and electronic medical records (EMR) - Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures - Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines - Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations We offer competitive pay, benefits package, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.
